Ronald Zamora, President

Born and raised in Costa Rica, Mr. Zamora graduated as an Agricultural Engineer from the University of Costa Rica in 1989. Shortly after, he was offered a job, and hired by an American produce company – Coosemans Inc. He began his journey in the U.S. as an agronomist in New York.

After six months of working in upstate NY, he and his fiancé, were transferred to Miami. Here, they ventured into a new aspect of the produce industry: marketing and selling. By 1990, Mr. and Mrs. Zamora became managing partners of the largest specialty produce company in Miami at the time.

Throughout his 25 years in the business, Mr. Zamora proudly became the co-owner & founder of four other produce companies in Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, and Panama. He did it all; from growing off-shore, importing, exporting, domestic food service, and supplying supermarkets.

By 2013, Mr. Zamora’s unparalleled experience in the produce industry lead him to seek a new venture, a new approach to produce. He spent the following years traveling throughout all Latin America and the United States, visiting growers, developing new techniques, food safety programs, new markets, and new items. This is how Zabile was born.

By 2016, Zabile started representing international and domestic growers, sourcing produce, and providing excellent service to clients in main markets throughout the east coast of the United States.
